Questions about M220
When would I choose the M220 over the M110?
Choose the M220 when your label needs more width for ingredients, product details or larger text. It accepts compatible rolls from 20 to 75 mm wide; the M110 goes up to 50 mm. Both print in black at 203 dpi and have a rechargeable battery.
Can I use both my phone and my computer?
Yes. Use Print Master over Bluetooth on your phone, or Labelife with the M220 driver and a USB data cable on Windows or Mac.
Can I print my own design, or do I have to use a template?
You can create your own label with text and images in Print Master, or import a PDF. Make your design at the label’s actual size so text and barcodes remain readable.
Can I print a batch with a different name on each label?
Yes. Print Master supports spreadsheet imports, so you can use a list of names or product details in one label design instead of changing every label by hand.
Can the M220 print 4 × 6 inch shipping labels?
No. The 102 mm width of a standard 4 × 6 inch shipping label is beyond the M220’s supported label width. It can print smaller address or product labels, but those are not a substitute for a carrier’s full shipping label.
Can I print full-colour product labels?
No. The M220 prints black text and artwork on direct-thermal labels. A coloured label gives you a coloured background, but the printer does not add colour to your logo. It needs no ink or toner.
Do I need a subscription to print my own labels?
No, as long as your design uses only free tools in Print Master. Some fonts, icons and other PRO features require a separate purchase or subscription; those extras are not included with the printer.
